On Tuesday 25th of April, our Northcross Student Leaders attended the Browns Bay 9:00am ANZAC Service and to walk in the parade. The sun was shining and it was a glorious morning. There was a large crowd including a few retired service men leading the parade, who proudly wore their medals. Northcross Intermediate Head Boy and Head Girl, Emma Barker and Sam Stockley, laid the wreaths for our school, along with representatives from many other Service Organisations, local schools and clubs. The Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy from Long Bay College gave very moving speeches. The parade and speeches, combined with the bagpipes and the bugle playing, made the ceremony a very touching tribute to remember all the servicemen and women who fought for the freedom of our country.
