TOI is a wearable art competition for student designers run in collaboration with WOW (World of WearableArt). Students entering TOI could also opt to enter the creative photo challenge, where they self-directed a conceptual “cover-style” shoot for their wearable art entry. This challenge was open to students across all year levels in New Zealand, from Y1 to Y13. Year 7 student Vivienne O’Connell won this year’s competition with her stunning photo of her garment “Yesterday’s Dream”. Vivienne will receive a camera prize pack to further her creative talent. This is the third year in a row a Northcross student has won this award.
