Northcross BYOD 2025

As Northcross Intermediate is a BYOD school and uses digital technologies throughout the curriculum, we encourage every student to have their own personal device to support their learning (whether at home or at school). If you are looking at buying a new device for your child the following links and resources will hopefully help you navigate the BYOD space:

NX BYOD Info and Specs: This provides an outline of the recommended devices for Northcross and the minimum specs. Please note that a learning device needs to be 5GHZ Wifi Capable.

BYOD Evening at Albany Noel Leeming:  4pm – 7pm Thursday December 5th

This is an annual event where Noel Leeming offers parents and caregivers of Northcross students (this includes any Year 6’s that have enrolled for 2024) the opportunity to buy devices and goods at discounted prices. Staff from the store and the school will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Chromebooks at Noel Leeming: The latest deals and packages on offer. Links are also available to Windows and Apple devices on the Noel Leeming BYOD Site (We do not recommend iPads or Tablets). Note that there may be some discounted prices on some devices on the NX BYOD Evening and that Noel Leeming will price match on the same product from other retailers.
