Just over 110 Northcross students took part in the North Harbour Triathlon on 8th of March at Long Bay reserve. It was perfect conditions for a triathlon – very little wind, warm seas and overcast skies.
Our Northcross competitors were fantastic representatives for the school both on and off the course. They were determined, full of energy, focused and very supportive of their fellow Northcross athletes. Despite very little preparation time they managed to produce some great results particularly in the individual events with three podium finishers:
Eva Scott – 1st Y8 girls, Benji Boyle – 2nd Y7 boys and Connor Kerr – 3rd Y8 boys
