Recently, 16 students attended the Casio Mathex Competition. Huge congratulations to our Mathex teams who participated in the Auckland wide competition on Thursday August 22nd. All students were a credit to our school and represented us superbly in a very competitive environment. 

Our two Year 7 teams finished on 95 and 85 points. It was an extremely tough competition with only 3 teams from the entire Auckland area getting to 100 points within the 30 minutes. Our Year 8 teams were placed 4th (team photo above) and 5th (see photo below) and both achieved 100 points, finishing well before the time limit of 30 minutes. An oustanding result from our outstanding mathematicians!
