We would like to assist you at home with Online resources that we use at Northcross in supporting Teaching and Learning.
All students will know which sites they have access to and how to logon to these platforms. These Learning applications have been individualised by the class teacher and align to our curriculum levels. They are available for use any time during the school day. Please encourage the use of these resources to support your child's learning.

The following Online Learning platforms are available to all Northcross Students:
GSuite: our nxschool.kiwi Google for Education platform. This will be where learning is directed from through Gmail, Google drive, Sites and Google classroom.
Education Perfect : A rich library of curriculum-aligned lessons and assessments across the subject areas. Content is carefully scaffolded to allow all students to experience success, while providing rich opportunities for higher order thinking.
Write That Essay : Used by Northcross teachers to develop key writing skills that should be taught in the life of the student.
Read Theory : Personalised Reading Comprehension exercises to improve your child’s Reading Comprehension. Teachers from Northcross are using ReadTheory to help their students improve their reading comprehension skills in a fun way that keeps them attentive and motivated
NX Specialists Online Learning Website : Ongoing learning and activities supported by our own Northcross Technology Specialist team.

Raz Kids : Online guided reading program with interactive ebooks, downloadable books, and reading quizzes.
Mathletics : A Maths site that gives your child the chance to challenge themselves, develop their autonomy, problem solving and ability to work independently. This Maths site is aligned to the NZ Curriculum and will challenge learners at all levels.
