Music Tuition

Northcross Intermediate School has one of the most exciting music tuition programmes available to students of all abilities. 

Our tutors are all very highly experienced and teach all genres of music through Piano, Keyboard, Clarinet, Saxophone, Violin, Flute, French Horn, Trombone/Euphonium, Drums, Trumpet, and Guitar which includes both Bass, Acoustic and Electric.

How to Enrol

Select your chosen instrument from the options below. 

Click on the Sign-up button, then complete and submit the sign-up form.

Lynne Potts our music tuition coordinator will be in touch with lesson times and any other required information before the lessons start. 

Students who want to learn two or more instruments register separately per instrument.  We have a maximum of 3 instruments being learnt for the year. 

2025 Fees & Payment

Individual lessons: 20 minutes for $27.50 per lesson.

Group lessons: 30 minutes for $22.50 per lesson. 

Each term the charges will be loaded onto your Kindo account. Payment is made on Kindo, through the website at the school online shop. 

Tuition and participation in our Stage Band (beginner band/mentor band) is part of the tuition price. 

Lesson Times

All lessons take place during school time. Students will be notified of their lesson time by Lynne Potts at the start of the school year. Our music lesson timetable is on our noticeboard in our music department.

Lessons fill up quickly from the preceding year and are on a first come, first served  basis. Once the lessons are full you will be placed on a waitlist.
