ASB Bright SparksIMG_1355 (1024x681).jpg

Three brilliant Northcross inventors went through to the NZ finals of the ASB Bright Sparks competition.  Rosa, an equestrienne, invented a remote controlled horse jump height adjuster.  Jasmine, a budding software engineer, developed an app to monitor the car’s speed and the local speed limit and feedback the information to the driver.  Kate, a keen water polo player, invented a wireless, soundless ‘whistle’ that would allow the hearing impaired to participate in team sport.  Jasmine won 1st placing for junior software.  Kate won 3rd for junior engineering, top overall concept and top overall female project.  Congratulations to our three amazing technologists!
