NX Success in National Dance Competition

On the 1st of June, the NX Dance troupes competed at the National Dance Competition (NDC) which took place at Westlake Girls High School. Three troupes represented NX in the Intermediate School Division: Hip Hop, Jazz and Contemporary, and it is safe to say that it was a successful competition for NX! Hiphop took out 1st place, Contemporary 2nd place and Jazz 3rd place. All pieces performed were student choreographed and taught by the Year 8 dance leaders over the last two terms during morning teas and early morning sessions. It was a great experience for all involved! Many thanks to Miss Hallett and Miss Malone for leading/organising the troupes over the last two terms, as well as the parents who came to help out on the day – we could have not done it without you!
