Kendo Awesomeness!

Jake Kim from room 6 has mastered the art of Kendo.

Kendo is a traditional Japanese martial art, which descended from swordsmanship and uses bamboo swords and protective armour. Today, it is widely practiced within Japan and many other nations across the world.
 
In 2019 Jake has been to both the NZ Champs and also to the Junior World Champs in Korea, achieving some amazing results.

June 2019- 3rd Place Junior World Championship – (Korea)

June 2019-his team 1st place Junior World Champs – (Korea)

October 2019-1st place Junior New Zealand Champs (Wellington)

October 2019 – 3rd Place Men’s New Zealand Champs (Wellington)
