Orienteering at the Park

On Wednesday 5th June, 34 Year 7 students travelled to Eden Park for the 2024 Eden Park Sprint. This was a great introduction for the students who were first-timers in orienteering. As a very special opportunity, the students were able to enter and experience a number of unique locations not usually available to the public including: running along the 200m access tunnel beneath the South Stand; entering the player facilities through the same doors as the All Blacks, Black Ferns, and Football Ferns all enter on game day; visiting the home team’s changing rooms; climbing the stairs up to the home team coach’s box; and racing across the world famous Number 1 Field. They all had a blast!
