AIMS 2017

IMG_6690 (2).JPGLast week 189 NX Students took to Tauranga to compete in the annual NZ AIMS Games, (our biggest Northcross team yet!) with the hope of taking the title of NZ’s top team or individual in their chosen sport. Every student was fully prepared to give it their absolute best effort, commitment and determination as they knew the opposition from around the country would be tougher than last year. It was a great week, with all teams displaying skill, agility, precision, stamina, and true grit in every game or event, right throughout the tournament week. There were many highs, lots of anxious times and a few heart-breaking moments, but through it all, our students showed incredible character and resilience, keeping their head held high. A huge thanks to our special team of Teachers, Coaches, Managers and Support Staff who have gone above and beyond to organise, support and inspire the NX AIMS team this year. Your support, effort, all those extra hours and the commitment you gave to driving the team to be the best they could be, through the highs and the lows, tiredness and injury – you all did an incredible job! Thank you very much! Also to the all our Supporters that came along, whether for a day or the whole week, those words of encouragement from the side-line were very much appreciated - thanks so much for making the extra effort to be there. Another successful NX AIMS year thanks to everyone involved! IMG_7938 (2).JPG
